On the exterior, Gower House blends new and existing: a modern Douglas Fir canopy paired with the original 1920s cottage architecture. On the interior, the walls of the traditional rooms have been removed, creating a larger, open living room, dining room and kitchen, organized along a focal Douglas Fir wall which runs from the front entry to the rear garden and new master bedroom and study.
