Adaptive reuse of the 1905 Randolph Huntington Miner residence (now known as the Amat House) on the Mount Saint Mary’s University Doheny campus. Home for several years to the silent film actor and comedian Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle, the 8,000 square foot National Register-eligible structure was converted from residential use to faculty office, classroom and conference facility. Scope of work included seismic strengthening, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing improvements, accessibility upgrades, and rehabilitation of historic fabric.
